Yamagata Aritomo was an honorable military leader, who led Japan to countless victories (Sino-Japanese War, Russo-Japanese War, etc.).

With constant visits to the West, Aritomo adopted certain military strategies and developed Japan into a world power.

He tactfully balanced Western Influence with Japanese arts.

He was skilled in the arts: writing poetry, designing gardens, and performing tea ceremonies.

His influence has helped people around him succeed and develop Japan. His protege was prime minister for 12 years, the longest in history.

Aritomo was born as a low class samurai. Throughout the years, by way of his own power, knowledge, and perseverance, he rose to his position. He deserved it; he did not buy or cheat his way up.

WITH HIM AS THE LEADER, MILITARY WOULD STABILIZE AND SECURE JAPAN ONCE MORE.
HE WOULD BUILD THE MEN OF JAPAN INTO BRAVE, COURAGEOUS MEN.
AGAIN, JAPAN COULD BECOME THE WORLD POWER, WITH THE HELP OF ARITOMO.

With such a skilled and honorable person on top, there is nothing to fear, for the gensui is here for Japan.
